Reiki changed my life.
“I discovered Reiki in 2005, during a period of burnout in the middle of my 27-year career in fashion.
It brought me calm when I needed it most,
and over time it became more than a practice,
it became a way of life.”
~ Susan Oubari
Your Reiki Training Path
I teach Usui / Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki within the lineage of the International Center for Reiki Training.
The journey begins with Reiki Level 1, offered over two full days in Paris or via Zoom. After Level 1, you are expected to complete 21 consecutive days of self-Reiki practice. This integration period is an essential part of the training.
Reiki Level 2 is taught during a separate two-day weekend, in Paris or via Zoom. A minimum of one month is required between Level 1 and Level 2 to allow for practice and integration.
Holy Fire® III World Peace Master training is available after a minimum of six months following Level 2. For those who wish to go further, Karuna Reiki® Master training is then offered as an advanced level.
Reiki is learned progressively. Each level builds on the previous one and requires practice, integration, and respect for the training timeline.
Students who have already completed Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 within a recognized Usui lineage with another teacher may apply directly for Holy Fire® Master or Karuna® Master training, provided the required prerequisites are met.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese practice for relaxation, stress reduction, and healing through the laying on of hands. It is based on the understanding that a life force energy flows within each of us and influences our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. When this energy flows freely, we feel balanced and supported. When it is depleted or blocked, we may feel stressed, overwhelmed, or unwell.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese terms: “Rei,” which refers to universal wisdom, and “Ki,” which means life force energy. Reiki is a spiritually guided energy practice that supports purification, healing, empowerment, and inner guidance. It works gently yet deeply, benefiting the body, mind, and emotional state while respecting free will.

What is Holy Fire® Reiki?
Holy Fire® Reiki is a form of Reiki introduced in 2014 by William Lee Rand through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). It represents an evolution within the Usui Reiki system and is now included in Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki® training taught under the ICRT lineage.
Holy Fire® Reiki builds upon the traditional Usui foundation while introducing what is described as a more refined expression of Reiki energy. According to the ICRT, Holy Fire® provides purification, healing, empowerment, and guidance, while always respecting free will.
William Rand describes encountering this refined quality of Reiki energy during spiritual healing experiences, which led to an updated way of transmitting Reiki to students. This evolution was designed to make the connection to Reiki clearer, more direct, and easier to receive.
Holy Fire® Reiki is included in Levels 1 and 2 and becomes more pronounced at the Master and Karuna levels. The word “Holy” does not refer to religion. It refers to wholeness.
Holy Fire® Reiki Compared to Usui Reiki
Usui Reiki and Holy Fire® Reiki share the same lineage, the same Level 1 and Level 2 foundations, and the same progression of training. Holy Fire® is not a separate system. It is integrated within the Usui framework and builds upon it.
The main difference is in how Reiki is passed on to students.
In traditional Usui Reiki, attunements are given in person by the teacher through a structured process. The teacher actively performs the attunement to connect the student to Reiki.
With Holy Fire®, the method of passing Reiki to students has evolved. At Levels 1 and 2, students receive what are called Placements. At the Master level, they receive Ignitions. These are guided experiences during which the student connects with the Reiki energy directly, while the teacher facilitates the process. The emphasis is less on a formal ritual and more on the student’s direct experience with the energy.
Because of this method, Holy Fire® Reiki can be taught in person or online and can be given to individuals or groups while maintaining the same lineage and training standards.
