Contraindications
The Breathwork I teach is an abbreviated form of Holotropic® Breathwork, called Two-Stage Pranayama. This is not about relaxation. It's a physical, mental, and emotional challenge and is not recommended for certain people : those with a sore throat, cold or fever, people with a history of cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, retinal detachment, serious mental illness, seizures, advanced osteoporosis, physical injuries or recent major surgery, as well as for people suffering from asthma (please bring your inhaler). If you are pregnant, Breathwork is not recommended, even in early pregnancy. If you have any doubts, I invite you to consult your doctor or contact me directly by email at susan@susanoubari.com.
